Situated by the Klarälven river, this eco-friendly hotel is 200 metres from Karlstad’s main street, Kungsgatan. Wi-Fi, gym, sauna and bike access is free. the oppertuniry of offering bicycles to their guests (free of charge - very important note) is big win! park the car in their garage and you’re a bikes distance to sny where within the city center. that was a deal breaker for me during my stay at least.

Clean rooms, staff always smiling and ready to help. Very rich breakfast as well. There is even no need to mention the location. It is at the heart of the city.

As always breakfast was top-notch. Have been staying here since 1990 with groups. Dinner buffet always great! One of a kind for hotels.
