This hotel was perfect for our weekend retreat. While located in the beautiful countryside, it's still easy to reach from Stockholm center. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was extra comfy! We especially loved the breakfast buffet made from local organic ingredients.

El Marholmen está rodeado de naturaleza y se encuentra a 350 metros de una playa privada en el archipiélago de Roslagen. El hotel alberga un restaurante. Superb surroundings and grounds. A shame we were only staying one night otherwise we could have explored more. Food excellent. As we were catching an early ferry the restaurant provided an excellent packed breakfast and hot drinks. Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. Fantastic environment for relaxation. We really enjoyed the spa facilities as well as lunch which we had booked separately. We made good use of the other facilities during our stay such as pool table, room to play board games, outdoor seating areas etc. I think there were bikes available but we didn't use them.
