Featuring air conditioning, Vila Barca is set in Madalena, within a 10-minute walk from the centre. Free private parking and free WiFi are available. Very welcoming staff and they we able to accommodate our needs very well. Place was very clean and we had everything we needed. We are definitely staying at Vila Barca again next time in Pico!

I was given a quick tour of the hostel and was free to choose whichever bunk bed I wanted. The beds are amazing: outlet, personal light, curtains that let no light in, space to put your things, very comfortable mattress, large lockers. The breakfast was also lovely. Stefan will make you his signature pancakes (also vegan and gluten free if you want). There is also yoghurt, bread, different jams, fruit and cereal. Speaking of food: make sure you participate in the "family dinners". The home-cooked meals (form starters to soup, main, and desert) are amazing. Stefan not only cooks better than most restaurants I have been to on the azores, but you'll also be fed until you explode and that for a very fair price. Finally, I loved the co-working space with nice chairs, privacy and fast WIFI.

Closer to the water and you'd be in the ocean. Very friendly owner and friendly cat 😊 very comfortable living room, and yoga room with view on the ocean.

You will be surprised that it looks even better than on pictures. Appartments are super clean, equipped with all you need and have huge beds where you sleep like a baby. You will for sure like homemade breakfasts on the terrase with a view. We recommend to try dinner prepared by the host! It's really worth it. If we are back to Pico, we will definitely stay at this place again!

The apartment had everything we needed and when the sun was shining we loved the large balcony-patio. From this location, you're close to so many things (assuming you have a car). Our host was amazing before, during, and after our stay, responding by text very quickly whenever we had a question or needed anything. She was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The kitchen is excellent, and so are the bathroom and beds. Very quiet at night.
