The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. We loved our stay at Octant - the facilities are brilliant and we also enjoyed massages on the day we arrived. The staff are extremely friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. We ate at the restaurant 2 nights and the food was lovely - particularly the Wreck fish and the Beef Cheeks. Our stay at Octant was the perfect end to our trip to the Azores.

I am travelling a lot and this hotel gets easily in my top 5. The appartments are very big with all necessary utilities, the pool and spa are great and breakfast is amazing. Also the employees are more than great and extremly helpful. I have sleeping problems sometimes but I slept like a baby at the this hotel.

Hotel Insular is located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao and 24 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. This 1-star hotel offers free WiFi. Very clean and spacious room. Both the owners and the staff are very friendly and kind. The location is perfect just 5 minutes walk from Portas da Cidade and 1 minute from Largo do Colegio. Nice restaurants and bars around :) I do recommend Hotel Insular and hope to come back!
