It offers free Wi-Fi, along with free gym and sauna access. the location: it was right in the middle of everything - close to the parliament, royal palace, shops, street food, aker bridge, train station (within minutes by foot). even though it is in the center, the street is quiet, right behind Grand Hotel. the breakfast - diverse and amazing. whether you like eggs, fruits, pancakes, sweets, cheese, cutlery - you have everything the room is quite large, sot beds and the temperature just right.

Most importantly, what makes Amerikalinjen special is the genuine politeness and hospitality of its people! Our breakfasts and dinners would not be the same if Alexander from the Brasserie Atlas was not there to ensure that every meal becomes an authentic and unique experience (not to mention our pleasant discussions and his very useful tips for Oslo). Likewise, Katharina and Nikos kept always the biggest smile for us, were very attentive and did the extra mile to help with every single thing that we needed. Exploring a new country/city and finding a new home is not self-evident! Thus, when this happens, you know that you will be back soon!

Opened in September 2018, this hotel is situated next to the Storo Storcenter shopping centre, between the Storo and Nydalen neighborhoods of Oslo, about 5 km from the city centre. The hotel is located in a very nice, modern, busy area with many restaurants, but the room was perfectly quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast had so many choices, with proper labelling of allergens. The design of the rooms and restaurant is catchy. Definitely recommended!
