Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, 森の宿 ビヨルク is located in Myoko. Bjork was very comfortable, clean and stylish. It is nestled in the middle of the woods so some of the windows framed the natural beauty of the Myoko area. The couple who run the place are meticulous about every detail and you feel well taken care of from the first moment to the last. We ordered the breakfast both mornings and it was delicious and satisfying. It was nice to come back to the smell of a fireplace after a day on the hills. We will return there if we go back to Myoko in the future.

Located within 200 metres of Akakura Onsen Ski Area and 7 km of Myokosuginohara Ski Area, The Address Akakura features rooms in Myoko. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Great studio room with plenty of space. Nice bath and shower, comfortable bed. Didn't use the cooking facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful, assisting me with a few problems that I had during my stay and were very pleasant to deal with.

I can’t describe adequately how much we enjoyed our stay at Refre… Peter, Jen and the whole staff went above and beyond to make us feel like family. Any request or help we needed was met with kindness, humour and efficiency. What made our stay so good was that it seemed that the Refre team really enjoyed having us there. Not like other hotels in Japan, where people are polite but robotic, we honestly felt more at home at Refre then at some family Christmas lunches! The hotel had such a good vibe, excellent breakfast, great communal area where you can sit and meet other travellers, have a beer or a tea. The private onsen was pretty special, after a day on the mountain, having the option to relax in a thermal onsen was very luxurious. The other great thing about Refre is that they know the town very well, can recommend the best places to eat, where to get gear from and details about each ski resort that you wouldn’t know. We will be back, for longer and telling all our friends to book at Refre!

Situated just a 2-minute walk away from Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, Akakura Wakui Hotel offers simple accommodation with natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire property. Close to kumado lift. Close to the bus stop shuttle to akakura kanko and also the bus stop for free shuttle around town to yodel lift area. Very yummy dinner!!! Glad we booked for 2 night dinner. Has a small onsen which is good enough. Pick up from myoko kogen station. Very responsive via messages on booking app.

Hotel Tae Windsor is set in Myoko, less than 1 km from Akakura Onsen Ski Area, and has a garden and a shared lounge. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views and free WiFi. The owners and staff are extremely kind, friendly and helpful, they made us very welcome all the time throughout our stay. Surprised by the stuff organised by the hotel during Xmas and the New Year, which we had a good time. Despite visiting the area the first time, we did not face any difficulties thanks to the helpful member of staff. Cosy environment which made us feel like home. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Location is brilliant as well.
