My room was great. The size is good for what I paid and the lighting fixtures are perfect. 3. The sky spa - I love the spa with the sauna and open-air bath. 4. The toiletries smell great - hair care, facial care, body wash 5. I feel that the scents used in the toiletries permeate the building. My room smelled great when I entered and after each cleaning.

Läget var bra, svårt att hitta. Google Maps visar att boendet är i kumamoto castle, booking.com visade hela området. Det blev lite pill och knåp innan vi lyckades med att köra adressen på japanska in i Google Maps som vi fick en träff och kunde hitta rätt. Boendet i sig var väldigt enkelt, nu sov vi mer eller mindre bara där men det räckte gott och väl för oss.

We liked the crab buffet and drinks. The hotel is large and many accessories. Though we can't see Aso mountaun this time due to Typhoon, the view from restaurant and room would be beautiful.

The place also has 2 onsens with mountain / caldera views which were so peaceful in the morning! And another one with an outdoor space. Finally, I loved the Showa era retro vibes.

The property exceeded my expectations. It provided us with a very relaxing stay, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The bath was very pleasant, although there was no open air public bath (contrary to the description). The room was spacious and comfortable. But it was the food that blew my mind: it was the most lavish feast I've ever had in onsen. It's also worth mentioning that the place is easily reached by the local bus.

Nice onsen and good food. The staff is very helpful, Mt Aso was closed for a few weeks before we arrived. She emailed booking.com to inform us on that night that the next morning is open. We managed to get there.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in OITA. The house is very nice and very cozy. It is very warm and the place is very beautiful! Even my mum and dad who do not normally say anything was very vocal how much they love the place. The owners were very helpful and very warm people too. Just a note that you cannot go here without a car because it is in the middle of the forest. But renting a car and going here was the best decision we have made for our whole Fukuoka trip!
