Views out to the Tsugaike Ski Area are lovely. Good breakfast included, and have a low key dinner service that is really great.

I booked these rooms for my family trip, Yuka helped me plan dinners for our large group before we arrived and then upon arrival was even more amazing. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was beautiful. They helped arrange our Takyubin to the next location for our luggage. They provided amazing snacks and great breakfasts, it was wonderful!

From picking us up from our train to helping us with dinner bookings and ski rentals, Julian, Tomoko, and staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. A big breakfast was the perfect way to start the day, with the baths a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. Easily accessible to 2 great resort areas just out the door. We ate dinner there nearly every night and it was a great way to experience amazing Japanese food.

Featuring a public bath and mist sauna, Phoenix Hotel by Hakuba Hospitality Group is located in Hakuba, a 30.6 km drive from Nagano. Visited from Dec. 26th to Dec. 28th (before the peak season began). Operates shuttles to Goryu/Hakuba47 and Happo-one in the morning at 8am and 9am and back to the hotel at 3pm and 4pm. Picked us up at the Happo Terminal at check in and gave us a ride back at check out. Phoenix provided shuttle rides to nearby places in the evening at request. Extremely friendly staffs and great service. Breakfast was great! Highly recommended. Walking distance from Lawson, rental shops (Rhythm Hakuba), and other restaurants.
