The room was new, and clean. The bathroom was great and more spacious than others in this range. The laundrette on the ground floor is a commercial entity and thus much faster than those found in other hotels. We particular loved the sake tasting, coffee and snack system for the coins provided at the front desk.

Open in 2018, just a minute's walk from Shinsaibashi Station, Feel Osaka Yu offers shared dormitory rooms and private rooms. Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are provided. First off, the location was excellent. While my friends were walking 40+ minutes after a night out, I was less than a 5 minute walk from Amemura and 10-15 from the heart of Dotonborri. It was really close to the subway as well, and the facilities were clean and well kept. The staff was absolutely excellent, going above and beyond to help me. They gave me insightful recommendations that let me experience the area and food through the eyes of the locals, as well as helping me navigate bag sending and other travel questions I would have struggled with alone. I had an easy time meeting nice travelers and finding things to do like bars and karaoke, but was also able to find time to explore by myself which was exactly what I wanted. All in all, very positive.

Great location!! Next to Aeon and McDonald’s (both open 24h if I’m not mistaken), is great if you’re not paying for breakfast at the hotel & felt safe walking around even when you wanted to get late night snacks. Clean and comfortable bed, the size of the room is just nice for solo travellers. Great staff too! They tried their best to communicate with you (since there’s language barrier) and help you, really appreciate the effort! Overall, really recommended!! Small mishap: If you want to send your luggages to the airport for convenience, better to ask the receptionists in details and make sure they could do same day delivery if you’re thinking one.

Located in Osaka, The Stay Osaka Shinsaibashi is 1.1 km from Glico Man Sign and offers various facilities, such as a shared lounge and a bar. Literally one of the best hostel I ever stayed! I liked how they design the pods in the dorm room, very spacious, everyone gets their personal locker and plenty of spaces not just the bedding. The dorm room was big and everyone have space to lay their baggage flat. Sufficient make up spots with power socket point in the dorm room. Very considerate for a comfort stay I would say. Sufficient bathroom cubicles as well, equipped with hairdryers and chairs so i could sit and dry my hair. Common area is fantastic, open kitchen is available, a lot of dining tables, and sofa area seems cozy. Laundry facilities are available on site (very important yeah). First time towel usage is free :) strategically located!
