Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Roermond. The hotel used to be the local prison, which was rebuild into a hotel. They did a very nice job in respecting the old building. The rooms are build in and divided over multiple "old" cells. Clean and large rooms with a good bed, bathroom and work area. Friendly staff.
The restaurant is supposed to be very good but it was completely booked for the evening. Bar is good and a nice outside sitting area. Did not use the breakfast. Parking next to the hotel.

Not a huge place, but I had the advantage of living there for 3 years in the 70's. Our visit was to visit Dutch friends and reaquaint ourselves with the place. I also have an RAF relative, sadly killed during the war and buried in the local Churchyard.
Quiet a busy town with a good Market, Marina and watersports. The shops good with a large Outlet Village too. Many restaurants and places to eat.

I knew Roermond very well having lived down the road for 9 years. Roermond is an excellent place to visit both from a shopping perspective, the Designer Outlet is very popular and parking (very large) is €4 for 24 hours. The old town is lovely with varied and good restaurants/cafes. Plenty of activities if you like, walking, cycling and water sports. the road network is excellent with Maastrich/Eindhoven/Dusseldorf nearby.

It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see.
It’s a quaint city with just enough sites to see. Most people come to visit the Designer Outlet Mall, but there’s more to the city. There are beautiful churches, a nice quay with cafe’s and restaurants. You can also visit nearby German cities and walking routes.

Old city, buildings were of great interest. Local food market where you can buy all sorts of produce. The asparagus was seasonally very special. Plenty of churches, must see St Christopher's Church.

There is a restaurant in the building of this hotel, and I understood that the accomodation facility was introduced recently. The staff, the owner, the courtesy were all excellent. We had our breakfasts with family in the elegant restaurant, and the breakfasts were prepared freshly just for us. We stayed there with family and after a satisfactory weekend, we changed our minds and extended our stay. This property definitely deserves more than I paid. The location is excellent for those who loves shopping; it is in walking distance to the largest shopping outlet of Europe. I would never forget the hospitality we faced; and for sure the chocolates!!
The topfloor suite was a pleasantly bright, clean, good sized and quiet room, with a good view, on otherwise drab surroundings. Ample cupboard storage space. Plenty electrical power sockets. Breakfast roomservice on time and plentyful, respecting Covid recommendations (gloves and distancing, but without facemask). Amazing and worrisome how Covid protection appears to be ignored. Good (public) parking facility, conveniently opposite the hotel entrance.
The hotel is situated perfectly in the city; it is a five minute walk from the station, while the city is right behind it. The room was spacious, had a tiny balcony (not common for hotels at this price point) and the bathroom was exceptionally big, and had a bathtub. Bonus point for the great view of the church which looks stunning at night. Breakfast was included and had a great selection compared to most other hotels at this price.
Although I was travelling with my own car I find location of the hotel perfect for train travelers. Literally next to train station with cute square in between.
Nice restaurant and a very good breakfast choice.
Large, comfortable and very clean room.
Free of charge underground hotel parking is significantly positive addition to overall positive impression about hotel.
great place with a friendly staff. we booked the room for our kids to rest during shopping at the outlet village. we got an early check in and checked out smoothly the same day. an excellent location directly to the outlet and a nice surrounding. does not have a private parking but a nearby garage is there and the outlet parking as well.
Great location near the bus and train station.
Nice, clean and spacious accomodation.

Very close to the city and outlet!.

The breakfast was very nice.
The beds were nice and comfy.
It was super clean, I liked how I felt the cleanness there.
The location is great if you want to go shopping in the outlet.
It is also near the restaurants and bars.
pretty much everything.
the decor, cleanliness, comfort and friendliness of the host and the list goes on.
it was super close to the outlet center with a lot of different shops, restaurants and cafes literally next door.
The hotel is really interesting as a design. the rooms are very clean and nice, although the heating was not working. The hotel staff was very nice and provided a heater in my room to help warm up the room.
Perfect location, close to the center and close to the outlet shopping as well.
Breakfast had everything you'd expect. I liked having the coffeemachine on the room as well (nespresso) with coffee provided!
Only 10mins easy drive into Roermond center.
Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
Extra pillows available.
Breakfast was basic continental style but adequate.
generally the Hotel pretty nice & room was comfortable, close to outlet city :-) (walking distance) and it was very close to the place where I had a meeting the following morning
The room was tiny, but very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station which is a huge advantage. It's not the cheapest accommodation, but I would recommend it.
