The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. Sarah and the rest of the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. The bed was really fantastic, probably one of the best beds I've ever slept in. Even though the duvet was a double duvet (we like our single duvets in Scandinavia), it was still wide enough that we didn't wake each other up during the night. I recommend trying the evening platter with local delicacies one night, just remember to pre-order 24 hrs in advance. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come this way.

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... What a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. Accommodation was excellent as was all the staff members, we had a wonderful welcome, , great food .

Chestnut Tree Cottage , 7 High Street อยู่ห่างจากปราสาทเฮเวอร์ 28 กม. Lis and Jason (and two dogs) were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble to them. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could need. It was a great find and hope to stay there again very soon but will make it a longer visit. The homemade brownie was a real bonus.
