I'm a bit bias since i was born in Cinco Ribeiras and was visiting my old home. The island has very limited beached, but it has great spots to swim, Cinco Ribeiras has one of the best places to swim and enjoy the ocean. Cinco Ribeiras is in the country side, so there isn't much to do, other then swim, but you're only 10 minutes from the city and you will drive through quite nice fregsias on the way there.Jose ElvinoCanada
