Location for this hotel is amazing - right across from the lake. We had a wonderful terrace facing the lake. There are restaurants around that are quite good / reasonable, within walking distance. One must take time to visit Villa Carlotta (botanical gardens) - a short 10 minute walk from the hotel - come early May for the flowers.

Villa Edy is set in a quiet spot of Tremezzo, less than 5 minutes' walk from the western shores of Lake Como. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, and a panoramic porch where breakfast is served.

The facilities are being very well kept, spacious rooms and parking area. Most members of staff were fantastic, very responsive, always with a smile in their face. They did not charge 16 eur for what was a very poor meal, meant to be regional and, in Italy, fresh. Breakfast had a reasonable choice, considering the size of the hotel, bread was soft/long life but seemed fresh. The eating area was pleasant, nice music.

The view with our breakfast. The selection for breakfast. The lake view from our balcony and the lake view from the terrace. The variety of comfortable outdoor seating arrangements. The friendly welcoming hosts and the excellent service provided by them and their staff. Added to all of this the Villa itself with wonderful painted ceilings and unusual roofed roof terrace, and the thought that had gone in to making the Villa and garden an attractive place to stay.

I like that it was close to the places i wanted to visit and by foot in 10minutes you are already by the lake. Also the stuff was very friendly and helpful.
