We loved how empty the slopes were, it is a wonderful resort of 4 connected ski resorts. Loved it and will be back. We went to the spa at the Monterosa Thermes one day and that was a nice break too!

A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars.
A great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars. It suited us as a family with adult children. The skiing was great. We are intermediate skiers, and there is a tough black run to access the majority of the pistes, therefore not so good for beginners. It was very quiet and no queues, with except of Saturday wheb the town and the pistes were very busy.

Unfortunately it was not clear on the Booking.com website that the accommodation rate was on a bed and breakfast basis only. To upgrade to half board I was charged £29 per day which I thought was excessive considering the poor quality of the evening meals. I shall be very wary of booking via Booking.com in future

fantastic skiing for non beginners 100% superb pisted slopes offering the best skiing I have ever experienced no queues, fantastic ski rental, superb mountain restaurants The best thing about the resort is the lack of groups of beginner skiers with instructors you never have to worry about collisions with erratic skiers

There is beer and wine on tap. The rooms are comfortable - we didn’t realize that complimentary tea/coffee was available at the front desk even though there’s a hotpot in the room. Breakfast eggs/ham can be made to order, as well there are all the other European breakfast items available. Not to mention the pool and sauna are free to use!

The newly refurbished rooms are lovely. We particularly enjoyed a sundowner on our balcony overlooking the valley below as the pistes clear, the sun sets over the mountains and silence ensues-no one but us left up the mountain. My daughter casually mentioned that she liked the homemade chocolate swirl pastries and the next morning she had a fresh plate waiting for her at breakfast! The pool and sauna were also lovely. We were skiing and drove the few kilometres to Champoluc each day which was no inconvenience at all.

We were a little cold one night with only blankets, but then the heating in the room was increased and that helped. But duvets could be a nice upgrade. Breakfast was delicious. Champoluc is very charming and the B/B is a short walk (10 mins) from the main center.
